We are a competitive team that competes on the Central Zone of the OCEA circuit. LUCC is entering it's second season as a team, competitive as well as club. 2016/2017 was the first year established as a team, and LUCC proved themselves all season long. From having many riders place consistently all year long to qualifying for OCEA finals, our team came out on top. In the Central Zone our team finished 3rd overall at year end.
There are 4 Divisons within the OCEA: Entry (18”), Novice (2’3”), Intermediate (2’6”) and Open (3’0”), and the qualifications to show in each division are explained in the OCEA rulebook. For riders with previous show experience, it is important to remember that regardless of what height you are used to showing at, for safety reasons, you will qualify for a division about 6” lower. With our 2017/2018 season quickly approaching we will be looking to fill 12 competitive spots (3 at the entry level, 3 at the novice level, 3 at the intermediate level, and 3 at the open level) with 2 alternates per division. If you are interested in trying out for our show team, please contact us and fill out our applicable forms in the form section. |
